Comparing these tools on headline price is close to meaningless, because they sell different units. Some sell credits, some sell minutes, some sell videos, and a credit does not mean the same thing in any two of them.
This page lists what each one charges and, where the vendor publishes it, what a credit actually buys.

Why credits are hard to compare
A credit is whatever the vendor says it is, and the rate often depends on which model you pick.
- Higgsfield: roughly 14 credits for an 8 second 720p Kling 3.0 clip. Starter's 270 credits is about 19 such clips a month.
- InVideo: about 30 credits per Seedance 2.0 Fast video. Plus gives 400 credits, which the vendor describes as about 15 videos.
- Synthesia: about 100 credits per minute of video. Starter's 15,000 a year is about 150 minutes.
- VEED: Lite's 6,000 credits is described as about 1,500 AI videos.
- RealClips: fixed and published. 5 credits for 15 seconds of stock footage, 25 for 15 seconds of AI footage, 1 or 2 per carousel slide.
The number that matters is cost per usable clip
Every credit based tool has the same hidden cost: generations you throw away. If one clip in three is usable, your real cost per post is three times the sticker rate.
This is why the split between generated and stock footage matters so much. Generated footage is unpredictable, so you iterate. Stock footage is already real, so what you see is what you get. On RealClips the difference is 5 credits against 25 for the same 15 seconds, and for a lot of topics the stock version is the one you would post anyway.
Free tiers, and what they are actually for
- RealClips: 20 credits at signup, no card. Four 15 second stock clips.
- Synthesia: 500 credits a month, but the output carries a watermark.
- HeyGen: 3 videos a month, up to one minute each.
- Fliki: 3 credits a month at 720p.
- OpusClip: 60 credits a month.
- Higgsfield, InVideo, VEED: free tiers available.
- Pictory: a trial rather than a free tier.
A free tier with a watermark is a demo, not a trial. If you intend to publish what you make while evaluating, check that first.
Annual billing
Most of these discount annual heavily, and several were running promotions when this was checked. Higgsfield had 30 percent off, Fliki had a 40 percent annual code. Those expire, so treat any annual figure here as the floor rather than the price.
