Higgsfield is a strong model playground. You pick from Kling, Seedance, Nano Banana and others, spend credits per generation, and get back a clip. If that is what you need, it is good at it.
People usually go looking for an alternative for one of three reasons. The credit maths is hard to predict, because every model costs a different amount per generation. There is no narration or captions in the box, so a finished social post still needs another tool. Or the cost per usable clip climbs once you count the generations you threw away.
What Higgsfield costs today
Read from higgsfield.ai/pricing on 2026-10-02. There was a 30 percent promotion running at the time, so you may see lower numbers than these.
- Starter, $19 a month billed annually, 270 credits a month
- Plus, $47 a month billed annually, about 1,200 credits a month
- Ultra, $129 a month, or $99 billed annually, about 3,000 credits a month
Credits are spent per generation and the rate depends on the model. An 8 second 720p Kling 3.0 clip is roughly 14 credits, so Starter is about 19 of those a month if you spend the whole allowance on one model and nothing fails.
1. RealClips
Best if you want a finished post, not raw footage
RealClips takes one sentence and returns a vertical clip that is ready to upload: script, narration, footage, and captions burned in. The difference from Higgsfield is scope. Higgsfield generates video. RealClips generates the whole post, which is the part that takes the afternoon.
Pricing is credits, like Higgsfield, but the rates are fixed and published rather than varying by model. A 15 second stock clip is 5 credits, a 15 second AI clip is 25, and a carousel slide is 1 or 2. Clips can be 15, 30 or 60 seconds.
- Free: 20 credits at signup, no card
- $9.99 one off for 100 credits, with no subscription and no expiry
- $19.99 a month for 250 credits, $59.99 for 850, $119.99 for 2,000
The honest limitation: if you want to steer a specific model, or iterate on a single shot until it is exactly right, Higgsfield gives you more control. RealClips is built for volume and consistency, not for art direction.
2. InVideo
Closest in shape to Higgsfield, in that you buy credits and spend them on generations. Priced per seat, which matters if more than one person is making videos. Plus is $20 per seat a month billed annually for 400 credits, Max is $36 per seat annually or $60 monthly for 2,000 credits, and Generative is $75 per seat annually or $150 monthly for 5,000 credits. About 30 credits per Seedance 2.0 Fast video.
Worth considering if you already work in a team and want an editor around the generation step.
3. Pictory
Different starting point. Pictory is strongest when you already have written material, a blog post or a script, and want it turned into video using licensed stock from Getty Images and Storyblocks rather than generated footage.
Starter is $25 a month billed annually or $29 monthly, giving 2,400 video minutes a year. Professional is $35 annually or $59 monthly for 7,200 minutes. Teams is $119 annually or $199 monthly.
Minutes rather than credits makes budgeting easier to predict, which is the main thing people miss when they leave a credit based tool.
4. Fliki
Text to video with an unusually large voice library and more than 80 languages, which makes it the obvious pick if you publish the same content in several markets.
Free forever gives 3 credits a month at 720p. Standard is $28 a month, or $16.80 a month billed annually at $201.60, for 2,160 credits a year, 1080p, and videos up to 15 minutes. Premium is $88 monthly or $52.80 annually at $633.60. A 40 percent annual discount code was running when this was checked.
5. VEED
A full browser based video editor that has AI tools attached, rather than a generator with an editor attached. If you expect to adjust the result frame by frame, this is the one on the list built for that.
Priced annually per user: Lite at $147 a year for 6,000 credits, Pro at $265 for 30,000, Business at $465 for 180,000.
6. Synthesia
Avatar led and aimed at training and internal communication rather than social feeds. A presenter delivers your script to camera.
The free plan gives 500 credits a month with a Synthesia watermark. Starter is $19 monthly or $14 a month billed yearly for 15,000 credits a year, about 150 minutes. Pro is $89 monthly or $59 yearly for 72,000 credits, about 720 minutes. Video costs about 100 credits a minute.
If your content needs a person on screen saying the words, this is a better fit than anything else here. If it does not, you are paying for an avatar you will not use.
7. HeyGen
The other serious avatar tool, including custom avatars built from footage of a real person. Free gives 3 videos a month up to a minute each. Creator is $29 a month for 600 credits with videos up to 30 minutes and 1080p export. Team is $49 a month for 1,000 credits and 4K.

The question worth asking first
Most of these tools are good at the thing they were built for, and the usual mistake is picking on price rather than on shape. Before comparing plans, decide whether you want raw footage you will assemble yourself, a person on screen delivering a script, or a finished post you can upload without opening anything else. Those are three different products, and the cheapest one in the wrong category is not a saving.
