InVideo pairs an editor with credit based generation and prices it per seat. That is a sensible shape for a team. It is a less obvious fit for one person posting daily, which is usually why people start looking around.
The per seat model is the detail worth noticing. Plus is $20 per seat a month billed annually for 400 credits, Max is $36 per seat annually or $60 monthly for 2,000 credits, and Generative is $75 per seat annually or $150 monthly for 5,000 credits. For a solo creator, you are buying a collaboration model you will not use.
1. RealClips
Best for one person posting often
No seats, no editor to learn. A topic goes in and a finished vertical clip comes out with narration and captions already burned in. Credits are not per seat and do not expire.
Free is 20 credits at signup with no card. Paid is $9.99 one off for 100 credits, or $19.99 a month for 250, $59.99 for 850, $119.99 for 2,000. A 15 second stock clip is 5 credits, so the one off pack is twenty of them.
If your work genuinely needs several people in a shared editor, InVideo is the better shape and this is not a close call.
2. Pictory
Sold in minutes rather than credits, which makes forecasting easier. Starter is $25 a month billed annually or $29 monthly for 2,400 minutes a year. Includes licensed Getty Images and Storyblocks footage. Best when you are converting written material.
3. Fliki
Free forever at 3 credits a month and 720p. Standard is $28 a month or $16.80 billed annually at $201.60, giving 1080p and videos up to 15 minutes. The voice library and 80 plus languages are the reason to pick it.
4. VEED
If what you liked about InVideo was the editor, VEED is the closer comparison. Priced per user annually: $147 for Lite, $265 for Pro, $465 for Business.
5. Higgsfield
If what you liked was the generation rather than the editing, this gives more control over which model runs. From $19 a month billed annually for 270 credits, at roughly 14 credits per 8 second 720p Kling 3.0 clip.
6. HeyGen
Only relevant if you want a presenter on screen. Free gives 3 videos a month up to a minute. Creator is $29 a month for 600 credits and videos up to 30 minutes.
Picking without regretting it
Three questions, in this order. Are you one person or a team, because per seat pricing only makes sense for the second. Do you want to edit, or do you want the thing finished. And do you need a face on screen. Answer those and the list above collapses to one or two options, which is a better way to choose than comparing credit allowances that are not measured in the same units.
