Delete your data

You can delete your RealClips account and all associated data at any time. This page describes what gets deleted, how long it takes, and how to request deletion if you cannot access your account.
If you have your account
- Sign in at realclips.ai/login .
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Enter your password and type
DELETEto confirm. - Everything is deleted immediately from the app; residual copies in backups are purged within 30 days.
If you cannot access your account
Email hello@realclips.ai from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my RealClips data”. We will verify ownership, confirm deletion by return email within 7 days, and complete deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Account email, display name, password hash, verification tokens.
- Brand kit (name, category, audience, tone, colors, logo, defaults).
- Every clip, image post, carousel, script, caption, and post copy in your library.
- Every uploaded file (product photos, logos, custom music).
- Every scheduled post and publish history.
- Every connected social account and its stored OAuth tokens.
- Rate-limit counters, cost logs tied to your user ID.
- Any AI-generated video clips staged in Google Cloud Storage.
What we may retain
Payment history (invoices, tax records) is retained as long as required for legal and accounting purposes, typically 7 years in the United States, then purged. Anonymized aggregate metrics (total clips generated per month, per-provider spend) may be retained indefinitely for internal reporting; these cannot be tied back to you.
Connected social platforms
Deleting your RealClips account revokes our stored OAuth tokens for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn if you had connected them. This disconnects RealClips from your social accounts but does not delete any content you previously published on those platforms; you must remove that content from the platform directly.
